With this InstallCard, a professional technician will configure your existing home security system to be monitored by NextAlarm. The current alarm system must be in working order and supported by NextAlarm. The technician will:
- Enter the alarm system's programming mode (code to be supplied by the customer)
- Program in the following information: Primary receiver phone number, backup receiver phone number, account number, reporting format
- Change the settings, if desired, for the following functions: Set user codes, set delay times, turn zone chimie on or off
- Test the system to ensure it is reporting to the NextAlarm central monitoring station
- Test that all sensors are reporting to the system and the system is reporting to central station monitoring

- Outgoing phone access is via VoIP which would require a broadband adapter and additional labor
- If the alarm system is non-functional or reporting trouble codes that prevent full functionality. Requires alarm be replaced or repaired.
